The Action Links Form Builder for Tessitura enables you to cut out the middle layer by collecting and saving customer data directly to Tessitura. It also gives your customers more autonomy to manage their relationship with you and saves your staff time, and you money. Here are five examples of how you can use the Form Builder action for Tessitura in your organisation:

Create affiliations between teachers and schools

One of the most powerful features of Tessitura is the ability to create relationships between Constituents, such as between an individual (e.g. a teacher) and an organisation (e.g. a school). Use the Form Builder’s Algolia-integrated autocomplete field with the public schools database along with our Log in or Register action to enable teachers to affiliate themselves with their schools, saving your customers a phone call and your team the manual data entry.

Accept general enquiries and feedback with CSIs

Streamline your internal processes by adding customer enquiries directly to the customer’s record. You can configure the Form Builder to add a CSI to a Constituent record just by passing an email address or Constituent ID; Action Links will create a new Constituent if it doesn’t already exist.

Collect RSVPs and update the status of customer activities

Personalise your forms by populating parameters in the URL (you can do this with pretty much any email service, e.g. Wordfly), for example, with a patron’s email address, Constituent ID, and name. And then use a Stored Procedure to update an Activity on their record with their RSVP status.

Give users an opportunity to update Gift Aid status (without logging in)

Got donors who haven’t opted-in to Gift Aid? It doesn’t have to be a difficult process to collect Gift Aid opt-ins – for you or your customers. Target customers who haven’t previously opted-in (or who have opted-out) and enable them to update their status there and then. With a bit of tinkering you can even show them how much more their donation could be worth if they opt-in. Check out our article on creating a Gift Aid campaign.

Scan tickets and membership cards to update attendance

In the future you’ll be able to interpolate the data you return from your procedure into the content you display to the user. With this, you could scan the barcode on a membership card, update a customer’s attendance for an event, return the Constituent’s record and display information for that in your form response.

Action Links empowers your customers to do more, speeding up their interactions with you and improving customer satisfaction, all while saving your staff time and resulting in a more comprehensive dataset.
